Disagree. I think the Dodgers will probably recoup that money pretty quick. Ohtani isn’t just an American star. He’s an INTERNATIONAL star. There’s a lot of people in Japan and Korea. Add that to the Dodgers brand. I hate the Dodgers but they were the only ones that made sense

Almost all of these long term contracts are never worth it for the team. Anything more than 4-5 years is just dumb… the second half of this 10-year contract will be a disaster for the Dodgers.

He is going to print money for the Dodgers. He will make them that money back and more through merchandise, ticket sales, etc
