Half of Tiger Droppings and 1/4 of LSU fans cus he was a cajun. That last cajun didnt end too well either.

Napier is low hanging fruit. Anyone that recommended him know nothing about coaching.

Kelly was nowhere on the radar.

Which means he was probably Woodward’s first choice all along.
Doesn’t seem to be many leaks under his leadership

I am hoping this is a joke about the outburst he had with Condon.

Yeah, his exact wording was "I'm not pushing Napier!"

local shock jock wanted Napier really badly

Easily this refers to Glen Guilbeau although Jordy did love him some Napier

“Glenn Guilbeau @LSUBeatTweet
Congrats to Florida AD @ScottStricklin for doing what LSU didn't - not looking down its nose and having the guts to hire a coach from a smaller school like Louisiana.”

Name one G5 Coach go on to have success at the P5 level especially at a blue blood program like Florida

All of them.
I for sure remember Moscona having him on AFR on a Friday evening.

Gushing over him, Theriot was basically saying “your next LSU HC”

Seriously? Brian Kelly is the first I thought of. Central Michigan and Cincinnati (the Big East was basically G5 at that point) to Notre Dame. You don’t get much more blue blood than that.

Urban Meyer is obvious. Norvell is certainly on the path. Same for Kiffen with 2 NY6 appearances at OM. Malzahn isn’t glamorous, but he’s beaten Bama and made a title game appearance. Matt Campbell is also still out there getting it done at ISU. Several of these aren’t blue bloods, but they show there are plenty of G5 coaches who do succeed. And there are others like Dave Doeren and Row the Boat who are good enough to keep the fans at their schools happy.

If they mentioned shock jock it was definitely Jordy. He had Napier on weekly and he'd basically campaign for the job.

they were a good program under Ron McBride, Urbs did take them to another level but McBride consistently won 7-8 games a year with some 10 wins season sprinkled here and there.
