Depends if they wanna break the invisible seal of not drafting LSU players.

Saints don't draft any QB that has a chance to be good and also, he won't fall that far unless they trade up.

If he can scramble from our terrible pass protection then sure.

Once Payton left we've since brought in Jarvis Landry, Honey Badger, and Foster Moreau.

But seriously, I'd love to have Jayden on the Saints as a Saints fan but idk if that's the best destination for him, the Saints don't inspire confidence when it comes to QB development or creative offensive playcalling to set their QBs up for success.

This Saints staff should not be trusted to develop anyone. Especially a QB

Do you not realise that they tend to steer away from drafting LSU players

Payton didn’t like LSU players because they lacked discipline. We all know now that Miles and O didn’t prioritized discipline. Better question is do we want Jayden’s talents to be stripped by Carmichael.

Not so fast, my friend. It's entirely possible for our Saints to poop the bedsheets for the rest of the season and end up with a much higher draft pick.

And, Heisman or no, for some unknown reason Jayden is still believed to be QB3 in the draft (behind two of Williams, Nix and Penix). Heck, at this point I wouldn't blame them for going full rebuild and getting into the trade-players-for-picks game while also tanking.

So Jayden to the Saints isn't really that far-fetched, should they decide to go that route. Is he a good fit for them, however, is the bigger question.

If they draft him and don't put a good line in front of him with some viable receiving threats, he's going to spend the first few years running for his life. That may have worked in college ball, but I don't think he'd last long in the NFL if his legs were the primary weapon he had to use to win.

Just my opinion, y'all.

I’m convinced the Saints from office doesn’t want to be good. They won’t draft a player than can actually make them better.

The worst part about the Saints season is this is by far the worst place you want to be in.

Finish 7-10/8-9 and don’t make the playoffs and don’t even get a top 10 pick.

Nope, they’ll draft an injury prone DB from Ohio State.
