In France.
The first people he met spoke English. He was attacked and saved by a nun, who speaks english. He met the messiah, and is now trekking across France with a couple of nuns and the chosen one?
How in the heck did we get to this point? The 1st few seasons in this franchise were some of the best tv ever.

This show hasn’t been cancelled yet?

It is one of the 300 spinoffs
Apparently everyone in France speaks perfect English.
Oh, and the only guns they have are muskets and ball / powder pistols.

In defense of this show, everyone in France speaking English is likely done because no one wants to read subtitles while watching a show about zombies.
If we wanna pick nits, there’s no reason why anyone in the Star Wars saga should be speaking English, either.

That’s the big picking nit? In a show about a zombie virus, you’re upset about language complications?

Very true.

Yea...I made it one episode

I watched it. It's no worse than TWD had become, somewhat watchable, but not memorable.

I've been to France - many do speak English.

More people in China speak English than in the US

This is not how you tag spoilers

I've tried watching it but Daryl Dixon on his own is an incredibly boring character and it's hard to really care about whatever craziness he's getting up to.

Somehow ending up in France? Stupid.
Having a child co-star that is a boy but looks like a girl? Kiss of death.

I hate to break the news about Star Trek to you, then.

My nit to pick with WD and any other zombie movie is that those worlds exist in a universe where zombie movies don't exist. There is always the brining where everyone says "we had no idea what those things were". You can be sure as shite if people started trying to eat people today they would all be shot in the head immediately.

That's the thing. If zombies existed in that world then there wouldn't be a zombie takeover. It has to be a world where zombies aren't even fictional.
