Was going back and forth on buying a Switch or waiting til Switch 2. Realized I have all these in progress I still need to finish:

Starfield
Cyberpunk
Hogwarts Legacy
AC Origins
Baldur's Gate 3
FF 16
Monster Hunter World
Monster Hunter Rise
Wild Hearts
Octopath Traveler II
Chained Echoes
Sea of Stars

Basically I don't need to buy anything for awhile. What's on your list?

Hogwarts Legacy
Spiderman 2

I'm about 70% done with a second playthrough of Cyberpunk that I haven't touched since COD came out.

I have pretty much finished everything else.

my list is very small.

i usually only play 1, maybe 2 games at a time and i dont like to put down until finished.

i "need" to go back and "finish" remnant 2. i beat the game but still havent seen every scenario possible.

I'd like to go back and finish chained echoes.

It’s more rare that I finish a game in recent years.

I didn’t think I was ever going to get through ff xvi, but managed to knock that out.

Things I need to tackle:
Phantom Liberty
Starfield

Things Id like to start:
Baldurs gate 3

My backlog is an immense unconquerable leviathan at this stage. It’s best I don’t dwell on it more than this.

Cyberpunk. Had it from day 1 and made it a few hours. Tried again when 2.0 released and made it a few more. Just can’t get hooked.

I've beaten every boss in every DkS game with no summons and no cheese. Friede came closer to breaking me than any other boss

ETA: Shadow of the Tomb Raider for me. I swear, I'm going to get back to it...

DS3 was the toughest for me lmao. When I was like 12 and fought the abyss watchers I threw my playstation controller and the controller fell apart like legos.

In 2023:

Hogwarts legacy-played a few hours it just didn’t do it for me. Wasted my money. Idk why I bought it I’ve never been into Harry Potter

FF16-I liked it but it could have been better. I believe I was about halfway done when the new cyberpunk patch came out and I swapped to that. Doubt I’ll be going back anytime soon

Addicted to cyberpunk right now. About 60 hours in and just finished all the side gigs last night. Ready to power through the main story over leveled as frick

To answer the question, Horizon Forbidden West. I played and beat HZD for the first time last summer and it instantly became one of my favorite games ever. Jumped into Forbidden West right after and absolutely loved it but it’s a much bigger and longer game. I kinda started to get a little burned out, then went on a long vacation in the middle of it and when I came back I never picked it back up. Still regret it because now I don’t remember what’s going on with the story

I’m also ashamed to say I’ve yet to start the GOW’s. Every time I say I am a new shiny game comes out

I will say the combat in FF7 remake is amazing. I can't believe they dumbed it down for 16. But the side quests could be a drag.

Dragon Quest 11. I'll finish it one day.

Probably not.

Played a few hours of RDR2 and didn't like it at all. I'm working on Ghost of Tsushima NG+ instead of trying to get into RDR2 again. I don't like dropping games so early and have only done it a few times.

Cyberpunk was fun and all, when doing the side quests and markers on the map, but when I got around level 43 and decided to finish the main story stuff, it became pretty boring.

So much dialog and chatter.

I stopped playing Tears of the kingdom and I was enjoying it but I haven’t really felt the urge to pick it back up and finish it.

Oh shite I got a bunch of em. Four are off of your list:

Starfield - decided to wait for a better mod scene
Cyberpunk - will be completing over the Christmas holidays, probably new character
Hogwarts Legacy - this one is going to be hard to complete
Baldur's Gate 3 - honestly got sidetracked on some other things, plan to pick it back up

Others:
FF7 Crisis Core
Elden Ring - got far, but will probably restart
Dark Souls 3 - got far, but will probably restart
Witcher 3 - got far, but will probably restart
Catherine - Played back in 2011 but never finished, restarted it in October to try out the newer version with the 3rd chick
Scarlet Nexus
Mass Effect Legendary - Beat them all multiple times but never finished them again on the remastered version
Divinity: Original Sin 2
Dreamfall Chapters
GTA IV
Jade Empire
Shadowrun Returns
Sleeping Dogs
Borderlands Series - I've started every game in the series, feels like I'll only complete if I run with someone

I loved the combat...except for that fight with the house. That battle sucked. Side quests were definitely a drag.

ME1 is really the only big difference. ME2 and 3 are basically the same games with some added bells and whistles, like higher res, ultrawide support, etc.

With that said, if you haven't done a modded run of of the trilogy, then god damn, would you be in for a treat.
