For his passing?

Running qb’s don’t do as well in the NFL as in college so his legs would not be as big a factor.

Not saying he’s not worthy.

This is outdated thinking. Strictly running qbs I agree, but the ability to extend plays with your legs is becoming more and more common and sought after in the NFL.

Also, looked pretty fricking good passing the ball this year.

Tell Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson…

He averaged over 300 yds passing per game with a 72% completion rate.
I wouldn’t really call him a “running qb” anymore even though he has that skill.

When I think of running qb, I think of last year where if your first read isn’t open you rely on your legs. That wasn’t JD this year..

I see him being Lamar jackson, but a better passer in the league

Is Jayden just a "running QB"?

Just you saying this shows you haven’t watched at all. He is the most accomplished passer this year by pretty much every metric. One of the most accomplished passers dating back years not just this one. He makes all the throws. His accuracy on deep balls is pretty great. Timing throws. You name it he’s proven he excels at it. Haven’t even mentioned his ability to extend the play. He’s a legit awesome prospect for his ability in the pocket alone.

Good thing he’s a passing qb that runs.

I remember a many of us being upset at the idea that the Saints might draft Lamar Jackson. Outside of injuries Jackson has been really good. Maybe not this year, but better than many thought. I’d say we were wrong on that.

Hurts has been incredible and many laughed at the Eagles taking him in the 2nd.

I would be happy if the Saints had a Hurts or Jackson. I would gladly take Daniels.

Last year I would have said no. Now I will say yes. His accuracy and decision-making abilities have improved tremendously. I would take him right now.

what?

1, Jayden can sling it... he doesn't have a cannon arm, but a quick release and ability to fit the ball in tight coverage windows will be his biggest strengths at the next level...

2, go check the QBs for the top teams in the NFL.... won't find many pure pocket passers with limited mobility...

3, adapt or die... its pretty simple, really
