Florida State to make the playoff:

At first I thought no way FSU should be in, but after sleeping on it, i don’t know how you keep them out. I’d just never thought I’d see the day when SEC champ Bama that was undefeated in SEC not be in or a scenario that no SEC teams are in

The best team(s) should be left out this year.
The committee has always put more of an emphasis on conference championships which would put UGA out. They also look at H2H, which would put Bama out. This will also allow them to put their statement out that makes more people support the expanded playoffs; even though those that are against it don’t like it being 12 teams.

Plus it is relief for the vast majority of college football fans who are sick to death of the SEC. The ratings for this playoffs would be the highest ever.

If FSU makes the playoff they most likely will not score a point as that team is currently constructed.

You have to reward fsu for their defense. They win low scoring games like other teams win high scoring games because of their offense.

If the committee does the right thing Vegas is right.
If they put Bama over an undefeated P5 champ or a one loss P5 champ head to head, they need to go to Japan and do the right thing.

I don’t want to get too excited at the prospect of thst happening. So I’m going to church and praying on it. Kidding football isn’t that important. But I would chuckle at the fact of bama winning the sec and getting left out. Regardless of anyone’s opinions on “eye test”, “who would win now” or “weak schedules” you have 3 undefeated P5 champs, and 2 1 loss P5 champs, one of which beat the other. It should be
