As a lifelong ride or die with my Saints, I am apathetic about watching a Dennis Allen/ Carmichael coached team ever again.

Haslett was coach of the year and brought the franchise its first playoff win. Obviously it didn't end well but he brought respectability back to a franchise that hadn't had any since the early 90s. He doesn't deserve to be insulted by being compared to one of the worst head coaches in NFL history.

Haslett complained publicly about NFL officiating and the NFL was pretty brutal in its retaliation against him. They didn’t even disguise the obvious blatant bad calls against him. Eventually, Haslett mentally quit.

Season 1 of Haslett was one of the most fun saints seasons in histories. The Jeff Blake win streak, Aaron brooks taking over and doing video game things, Glover and Hand dominating the Dline, haslett ranting about rams trick plays, and the most improbable saints win maybe in our history.

So at least haslett gave us that. Dennis Allen saints aren’t the worst saints, but they are among the most boring.
