The 52-year-old was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, and underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation. In 2017, she revealed her cancer was in remission. But in 2019, it returned, and she was diagnosed with metastatic stage 4 cancer.
That's just brutal. I'm assuming she was getting regular check-ups and such every 6 months or so. For it to go from nothing to stage 4 between check-ups is horrifying. Talk about aggressive!
Never watched anything with her in it but she always came across as a cool hottie back in the day.

The absolute first thing she or anyone with cancer should look at doing is starting a strict Keto diet. Apparently cancer cells are heavily glucose dependent and can be selectively starved when the body switches into ketosis.
Not saying you're wrong, but it's not like oncologists wouldn't do this if it were true, right?
Like Steve Jobs going vegan when he had cancer because he believed it would help.

Poor thing.
My heart goes out to her and her family.

There have been plenty of studies and anecdotal evidence showing better outcomes with keto. I don't know what Oncologists do or don't recommend, but, in general, western medicine largely ignores anything that works naturally, in favor of drugs. I think the reasoning for that is self-evident.

the vegan diet is a sham. the carnivore diet is a legitimate life saver, but unfortunately it doesn't fit the narrative (e.g., global warming, etc.), and so it's ridiculed as "unhealthy, etc." without a shred of evidence other than a couple of small, now-exposed faulty shite studies that had an agenda. there are thousands upon thousands of examples of vegans who, after years of veganism, absolutely wrecked their health.
there are people, lots and lots of people, reversing diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cancer and more with carnivore.
I went full carnivore elimination diet for 3 months and dropped 30 pounds like that, and felt like I was 25 years old again. After new years I'm going back and don't intend on ever going back.

Not sure who she is, but I am sorry she’s going through this. I hope she finds peace and comfort.

I work in healthcare and in my experience, if it helps you get better, oncologists go for it. They almost always pair their "western medicine" treatment with dietary and exercise suggestions. Eliminate added sugars, overly processed foods, alcohol, etc. But I've never heard of them saying anything about benefits of Keto or Carnivore, specifically. I've unfortunately had several loved ones with cancer and consulted oncologist colleagues and friends about this very topic.

100% correct.

Not carnivore. The body can convert excess protein into glucose. keto helps because it switches your cells off of glucose entirely. It also helps protect healthy cells from chemo drugs that target fast-metabolizing cells and helps lessen the side effects.
It is sad that something with this much evidence is apparently either not known or not discussed with cancer patients. It's not surprising, though, since nutrition is barely touched upon in medical school.

Can you cite something from the article that recommends a plant-based diet for cancer patients?
