Well, if we want to be a contender every other year this strategy may work if we get quarterbacks with at least two years of eligibility. If we want to be an contender every year, we need to develop our own quarterbacks in our system.

Been saying this for months, and sticking to it.
Too much of the Denbrock offense disappears when moving from Daniels to Nussmeier. They would have to completely change the system for Nussmeier. Evidence of this is the type of QB’s they are recruiting. More like Daniels, less like Nussmeier.

It's not like the system has a lot of designed quarterback runs. Most of the yardage Daniels picks up is just improv.
They will need the backs to carry the load in the run game, and they need to be more creative with it...until we get another Jayden Daniels.

A few reasons, but a big one is they don't understand how probability works. They think since we had 2 transfer QBs that worked out that means any transfer QB we take in the portal will automatically be the next Heisman contender.
