I don't really give a shite about this team any longer and that's something I never thought I would say as a Saints fan since I was 7 years old.

Its extremely unlikeable. The entire team knows Carr is the problem yet he will not get benched, Carmichael is terrible, Allen is a dead man walking, etc..

There is nothing here to really rally behind with the insanity of the Red Zone situation.

That terrible pass that concussed Olave really fricking sealed it for me, that was an easy 6 with a competent QB.

We had season tickets my whole life growing up. I sat through Mora and Carl Smith and Rickey Williams and Ditka and two Billy Joe's on the team at the same time and never felt this way.

This current team, front office is trash.

I stopped caring when they hired Allen. Showed me they weren't serious about winning

Allen has a lot to do with it.

There is no leadership, nothing.

There is nothing there.

I'm actually sad watching Davis, Jordan, Kamara, ram, and Lattimore waste away on this team.

Kamara still has some juice.

He hates this team, you can see it in his body language.

He knows they are going nowhere with Carr.

I am kind of meh on them this year. I guess im not so much hung up on how bad they are now.

back when we won a SB in 09, I kind of made the decision that I will always support the team and pull for them, but if they suck I won't let it affect me any. to me I consider myself fortunate to have seen us win a SB in my lifetime (which I never thought i would), so anything good beyond that is just gravy.

BUT having said that, this year is bewildering and frustrating to say the least.

I still love the Saints. I never ever thought we would sniff a Super Bowl in my lifetime.

But this current situation is absurd.

its insanely frustrating and the Carr contract is sobering.

Yeah but I think part of it’s just age and having three kids who now all have their own interests. Even the Minnesota miracle didn’t get me that down for very long and that would’ve fricking devastated me 15 years ago

It’s weird my son is a big Jags fan due to where he's growing up. Dude stuck with them when they were winning one game and all the other little shits were pulling for the rams and teams like that.

Almost have more of a connection with them now because I want to see him happy with his team.

It’s clear our organization could give two shits about being innovative or moving forwards. It’s like we keep having shittier and shittier cover bands of the glory years.

2018 no call
2020 or whenever the whole Jeff Blake/Drew's very public character assassination offseason was
2022 Sean retiring/Hire Allen
2023 Seans back

Not even including Thomas and his on field/off field stuff, Kamaras dumbass Vegas vacation, draft busts, bad contracts, bad trades, bad hires, etc

It's been a rough go for several years now. As a fan the only thing I'm waiting for at this point is the purge and rebuild but we are probably another year away from admitting as an organization that this was a fail and starting that as well

I haven’t had an emotional connection with this organization in many years.

The Saints organization does not give one frick about the fans.

And hasn’t since the SuperBowl

We are a necessary evil that they have to put up with.

Since the SuperBowl

Everybody in the organization has been doing nothing but collecting bigger paychecks year over year.

I really want him to play his entire career for the Saints, he still has a ton of gas left in the tank. An all-time Saint to be sure, was glad he set the record for most yards gained. Would like to see him get another 1k on the ground and overtake Ingram for first in rushing yards.

Well I would be lying if I said that I don't because they still managed to piss me off usually each week.

If I didn't care then I wouldn't watch.

The biggest difference that I've noticed is that especially now I'll get over a loss pretty quick

I did go to a game this year and I had not done that in a couple of years.

I know it was a Thursday night game against the jags but even when the saints were coming back in the game the level of energy just wasn't the same.

Understandably so.

I got invited to go to the game and only chipped in and on gas money so why not? Ended up having a good time even though we lost which I can't believe I'm saying that.

Is he though? Do we trust ownership to make the right move and get rid of Allen?

With this division and our easy schedule, I could very well see ownership giving Allen another year if he bumbles his way into the playoffs by winning this shite division.
