In your opinion what is that? Would 9-3 cut it since it’s a tough schedule or should lsu be 10-2 or better since it’s year theee under Kelly

With next year’s schedule and a new starting QB after the worst defense in program history? Yea, I think 9-3 would be massive.

The schedule couldn’t be any easier next season.
I would be very surprised if this team next season loses more than 2 games.

Not making the playoff would be a failure imo. I don't think we'll win a national championship, but making the playoff should be the expectation.

No one can honestly reach that conclusion without first knowing all of the variables in play.
What will the final roster look like?
Who is on the coaching staff?
What do the rosters look like for the competition?
Those are all largely still unknown. So just arbitrarily assigning a number simply because it is year 3 without knowing all of the current "unknows" is asinine

NY6 is never a failure. We do that, job well done. Obviously the ultimate goal is to destroy everyone and God willing we shall.

Saban:
8-4
10-3
8-5
13-1 (NC)
Miles:
11-2
11-2
12-2 (NC)
Orgeron:
9-4
10-3
15-0 (NC)
Kelly:
10-4
10-3 or 9-4
Saban took over a 3-8 Dinardo team.
Les took over an established winner.
Orgeron took over a team that was floundering offensively.
Kelly took over a team with a depleted roster and toxic culture.
If Kelly can effectively address the defensive issues then 10-2 should be the expectation with hopes of 11-1.

Beef up the defense, then we are 10-2 and in the playoffs.

Offense will be good, but not great. Defense does not look to improve. So Kelly's claim of being one year away from competing for a NC seems to be far from likely. 8 wins would be the ceiling I think unless they do better at recruiting, preparation and the portal.

Should be 10-2, but I wouldn’t be mad at 9-3 if it still gets us in the SEC CG.

Playoffs or bust next year.
Probably even final 4.
He’s had time.
By year 3 he’s built former teams from doom to natty and this is LSU. Far superior talent.

8-4 would be this team being about as good as they were this year. 9-3, to me, would mean they improved, and anything better than that would genuinely exceed my expectations, so I'd be thrilled with 10+ wins.

Making a bowl game would be huge if House is retained.

Next year 10-2 and we get into the playoff somewhere in 9-11 range
We win a playoff game and lose in the second round to either Georgia or Bama

If we keeps this defensive staff, in particular House, then he damn well better be in the playoffs. If we have to sit here and watch a shite defense again, then the blame firmly lies on Kelly next season because he decided not to make changes.

The two year honeymoon is over. A 10 win regular season needs to be the expectation for the next five years, barring something beyond the norm (losing your starting QB week 1-3). Regardless, the season should be a massive disappointment if we aren't in a 12 team playoff.
Kelly MUST address the DC issue and probably as importantly, the Lyndsey issue asap. We went this entire recruiting cycle without a D-Line coach and a DC who sucked at it and it shows as we look extremely weak again this class. In addition, there is no reason for us not to have a 1st team All-SEC caliber defensive back, and currently we have no one even close. That has to change.
That said, the offense has been shockingly great and the O-line next year should be our best in a generation. The continuity of the OC can not be stressed enough as this will be Nusss's third year under Denbrock and his system.

Well we play UCLA, USC, Bama, Oklahoma, Florida, Ole Miss, and TXam. I believe 9-3 is reasonable with new QB & hopefully some new staff, and losing the should be Heisman JD5, 9-3 is sufficient as long as we are in thick of things of the new SEC & new 12 team CFP.

No way to know. The offense looks to step back. The defense? Is there anyone new that can make plays?

BK already said, bar is 10 wins
