Got a email notification from Legacy . com this morning, Never knew Jason in person but the Auction was epic and brought out the best of the OB and humanity in general

It was a great get together. I never met him in person but know his dad, sister and his ex brother-in-law. He and I put 2 and 2 together when I posted about his brother-in-law having the wiring of his truck torn up by a squirrel.

How old is his son now?

I remember this well. This is when I realized that despite most of us being smartasses on here, that this site is full of good people.

Today would have been his 20th wedding anniversary. The last week has been hard for his family. This week is also an emotional one for those that loved him.
Please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

Maybe you rode with us to the auction?

Thanks to some of the OB’s best his namesake (the pup from the auction) ended up with my family when he was around 16 months old. He turned 10 in October. I’ll try to get a pic of him posted sometime this evening. Maybe this thread will draw out some other “old dogs” of the OB……

Man - it was heartbreaking to have to give him up. Pregnant wife + 1 year old + surprise pup...did not bode well. Glad he found a good home and doing well.
I wished so badly that JD could have been there with us all that night.

I forgot you ended up with that puppy Judge. I still have his litter mate as well. He's been a helluva retriever and deer finder. His will probably be his last year though. He's getting old fast.

I spend most of my time on tPolitical Talk, so this board is my respite.
I may mainly just lurk here, but this is where I come to decompress

Hope you are well. He still runs the frick off and pisses me off. Old men are supposed to stay close to the house.
