Super Cruise, Blue Cruise- Assisted driving users

Have these options been worth the costs? The few vehicles that I have seen that offer the assisted driving features require to to get the max trim to even get the opportunity to add these on. Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on how good they are and if it is worth the expense. TIA

Super Cruise is amazing technology and is fun to use on long road trips. I found that it actually makes you pay attention to the road more so than you usually would driving

I have the super cruise and it mostly works well. Sometimes it will do some weird shite. Its great for long trips and also nice to just hit it on sometimes and relax. I wish it was a little more forgiving on how long it lets you look away. Ive been wanting to get some sunglasses with eyeballs painted on the lens to see if I can trick it.

All of my vehicles are old as shite, but at the end of September I flew down to Bama and drove back to Montana with a buddy who had just bought a new Palisade. It had all the maxed out driving assist features.
Outside of trying to navigate multi-interstate exchanges in Nashville, I basically let the car do all the driving. It easily handled distance, lane curvature, speed, etc., Kind of weirded me out at first, but I eventually began to trust and enjoy it. Definitely a huge plus for a 32 hour drive.
That said, I know that shite has got to be ungodly expensive to fix when it inevitably stops working.

I have blue cruise on my truck and it's fine. Useful if you're traveling a lot on interstates etc. Much more self driving than my older vehicle had with lane keep assist etc.
That said, I think at some point if not already they moving to more of a subscription based system. So even if you get a higher trim, expect to still be forking money every year to use the feature.
Eta: on one particular trip I make regularly. I can eat my sandwich from Wendy's two handed like a fatty without any issue. That's nice.

I’ve got bluecruise on my truck and like it a lot. Just makes interstate cruising much more relaxing.

Wife's new ride has it (Infiniti QX60). Not the top end version (Luxe). Haven't had it long enough to use for a long trip yet. I have played with it and it's pretty cool.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but we have assisted driving on our Camry. It does good but after like 10 seconds wants a hand on the wheel. I assume it's probably the Toyota version so probably the previous generation of assisted cruise control. It won't change lanes, but will go with traffic and maintain lane.
One thing that takes getting used to is it will slow you down long before you normally hit the brakes on regular cruise control. Even setting it on 1 car length, it will start long before that slowing you down to 1 car length. So if you're not paying attention, your 105 cruise control will have you putt putting behind some jabroni going 80 and until you're used to it and actively moving over it will fool you. Also the lane departure hates when you don't use your blinker which admittedly I tend to forget when I'm zig zagging across multiple lanes of Atlanta traffic to hit the exit just in front of everyone else.

I haven't really messed with more expansive versions, but just the adaptive cruise control alone on my car has been a massive game changer. I usually don't even turn on the lane keep assist. I don't use it normally in the city, but for open interstate driving as well as bumper to bumper traffic? Life changing.

Sure it's not an Altima?

Altimas come pre-crashed. They have collision induced steering instead of avoidance
