Went to Autozone last week to get a windshield crack repair kit. I get home and go to open the container and some lowlife had cut it open with a razor blade and taken the resin out and glued it back together

I bought an oil filter from Walmart one time that was used. It had been drained completely before resealing the box, but the gasket was worn and there was dirt and grease all over the housing and the gasket. I mean, who takes the time to drain a used oil filter and return it to Walmart?

I’ve had used windshield wipers a couple of times. They never complained because I always wanted an exchange instead of a refund.

You bought through Amazon but delivered by UPS or USPS? Was it FBA or FBM?

Was delivered through fedex.

I wasn’t aware I could do that. When I requested a refund it said I had to get it directly from the seller.

So to offset that I imagine your company had to raise their prices?

It's a bit complicated, but we have raised our base fee, yes.

I have no issue with people stealing from blood sucking corporations like Amazon and Walmart. Amazon is a modern day sweatshop.

I can confirm this is true.

My son and I started a business this summer and people would use the item and send it back.

Part of issue I think is that most people who buy from Amazon think they are just screwing Amazon. They don’t realize it’s a small business trying to eke out a margin.

I had a 18 hp motor delivered by amazon, the shipper didn’t put it in a new box and left it in the original box with a giant photo of the motor printed on it, showing exactly what’s inside. Sure Fedex took a photo of it being delivered, it sat on my porch, with a giant image of what’s inside. Ask me if it was still there when I got home from work. People steal, you’re right, people love to steal things off my porch and mailbox, stop assuming I’m gaming the game.

At least half of the stuff you buy on Amazon is sold by a small business.

Walmart too has a lot of small businesses selling on their site but not as much as Amazon does.

Oddly enough, the times I have sold off old tools or stuff locally on FB marketplace were pretty smooth

Yep.

Fixing to put my cargo camper on there. It's pretty smooth. It's the only reason I have facebook and my account name isn't me. When I sell something I let them know who I am and why I use another name for spam and bullshite.

Im not saying there aren't legit claims, but I am just skeptical after seeing how much people take advantage of Amazon's relaxed policies.

That makes you no better than Amazon. You are making money off the back of a sweatshop.

Amazon destroys actual small business like mom and pop shops, so quit acting like you aren't part of the problem.

What sweatshop? The distribution centers?

How many of the people in these so-called sweatshops are forced to work for Amazon?

I don't disagree but Amazon has also brought a ton of small businesses opportunities they would not have otherwise. The ones that you are speaking of who get destroyed are operations that didn't modernize and adjust to the times.
