I shut down my Amazon store about two years ago but still have products for sell. Im ungated in quite a few categories and brands. I was a $75k/yr seller and was on pace to scale up, but the changes to warehouse and category limitations meant I couldnt specialize in one area so growth stalled. We ulitmately had a loss of other income and I decided to stop my Amazon store due to time and effort.

I still have packing supplies, labels, printers, etc if you are in BTR. I can also give some of my lessons learned and tips.

PS - I did Bras and Jeans and other clothing when it was big around COVID. Clothing swamped me with returns and loss, and as you probably know, returned clothing can not be sold as New. So I ultimately decided to donate returns and file the loss on taxes.

Grocery category, does not allow returns and you can avoid returns/stealing.

I started selling on Amazon about 4 months ago and the attempts of people to steal are staggering. The most common is an item not recieved claim or people swapping out their broken item for a new one and returning the old one

One of the biggest things going for years is people just saying they didnt purchase that and do chargebacks on their credit cards.

Lots of people steal on a regular basis.

shite, pirating was a big thing, that's stealing.

So when we say it's "culture", it's applied to all races now? I'm confused. I think we need a word for every race.

Honestly the only difference is how its done. I remember after hurricanes Katrina & Rita I guess it was FEMA that set up a site where people who needed money right away could go apply and instantly get a few hundred dollars. I heard people talking about how they went and waited in line.. Who had nothing wrong, they were pretty much just taking money for no reason from the federal government (but now looking back, I guess frick the federal government), but the best part was that there were people from well off families, who had no issues, who went get these hand outs.

That was in 2005.. But it seems like 20 years ago from then that would have been something people would have been ashamed to do.

I guess that wasn't technically stealing since they were giving it to anyone who applied, but there are people who will do just about anything for money. People who will do anything to find away around something. And on one hand I can see it because companies seem to frick the customer so of consumers can find away then go for it, but its like everyone has lost any type of morals.

it is why I only use Mercari shipping when I sell there. sold a TV with their local delivery, and it never got marked as delivered - Mercari credited me the sale after I provided all of the info pertaining to the pickup - including the person's license plate number

You would think so, but they are like kids in school who would rather waste more time trying to figure out how to get around not doing homework than to just actually do it.
