Speaking of them old timers way back then, fun fact for all you “Vice President is a worthless, dead end position” peoples out there on those streets: Thomas Jefferson kicked it off with a strong argument that VP can and does lead to good things.

Thomas William “Bill” Jefferson was the VP to one James Eugene “Gene” Madison. Seemed to work out pretty nicely for all of us on that. Hence the missed opportunity for us all when Desantis jumped the gun and insisted on throwing in for ‘24 election. Trump would have appointed him to head up the attack on something like the border crisis or crime or energy crisis or dealing with some international crisis that’s the most threatening at that particular time. He would’ve been every bit as critical a team member as Trump himself.
