ery likely, and shouldn't she face discipline for "fraternizing" with enlisted personnel? or is that no longe a thing?
It isn't fraternization if it is rape. Following how this avoids accountability now?

Not sure I buy this one. We always let the civilians take charge when they want to prosecute. Something tells me there was conflicting evidence, the civilians didn't think it was a strong case, so then the military tried a courts-martial
Wouldn’t military be considered federal under dual sovereignty or separate sovereigns allowing DA to still pursue afterwards if enough evidence?
It was the reverse order, but Timothy Hennis was acquitted by state/local and when new evidence acquired (DNA) he was recalled back into service at Fort Brag just to be court martialed for same crime (actions).

I am one of the few. My family has had someone continuously serving in Alcoholics Anonymous since 1942 before it was Airborne and stationed at Camp Claiborne, Louisiana under Omar Bradley. We have 4 right now, one in the 504th IR, one in the 325th IR, one in the 17th Cav, and one in the 3rd Brigade Headquarters. The AA is a family business.

by jbgleasonWhat's the point of this story? Sounds like an accusation was made, a trial occurred and there was an acquittal. That's the way it's supposed to work.
Yep but she regrets her decision to frick that night and is scorned so someone must pay.

been a long time since I was up on the Jeffrey McDonald case(at Bragg also,) but the military and civilian courts both wanted a piece of his arse and worked together, again, it's been a while but I don't think double jeopardy protection blankets civ and mil courts, iirc, the military was going to try him if he was acquitted in civilian court

Sidetrack … if you ever get a chance to go to Mack’s Speedshop, they have excellent grilled wings.

Without reading all of that…. Women have no place in combat arms.

Delta Force doesn't exist. This has been all a pack of lies.

quote:Correct. The 82nd Infantry Division in World War I. An Army Reserve division (along with the 101st Infantry Division which was not used in the war).
Reporter is talking about the female officers unit. 82nd Airborne.

I was stationed at Bragg. My step brother was stationed there at the same time. I KNOW he was in Delta. I went with his wife to pick up his mail at the Delta compound. I know he was SF prior. When I’d ask him what he did he’d say “I test weapons for the military”.
No kidding, he never admitted it, ever. He was the epitome of quiet professional. He never said a word even to his own family.
