WRONG....the Aggies are one of the six Senior Military Colleges (Norwich, VMI, the Citadel, Virginia Tech, North Georgia and A&M). Now not all of the cadets have a ROTC commitment, but over 50% of the Corps at TAMU get commissioned.

Cadets are required to take ROTC classes during their freshman and sophomore years as these classes provide formal leadership education and practical leadership experience. Over 60% graduates go on to pursue careers in public and private sectors that are not military related.”

And if you believe they’re credible then there’s also this:
“Reveille, the highest-ranking member in the Corps of Cadets, is Texas A&M’s official mascot.”
A dog is the highest ranking official.

Not so fast (holds pencil up)...if you are on a ROTC scholarship, you certainly do have a military obligation.
The figure I got last week from Cadets of the Ole War Skule indicated that 45% of the cadets weren't on a commissioning track.

Maybe you should check their brochure. 97% receive scholarships but aren’t still obligated to join military.
Edit: it does say eligible cadets so maybe I’m wrong and misreading but I do think you’re giving these clowns too much credit.
