They’re not really military. It’s a bunch of dudes pretending to be soldiers

Mike Leach nearly had to join the witness protection program years ago after informing the Aggies that he was aware of this lmao

Some of our fanbase is so soft. It's the day before Thanksgiving and you're still melting over the team respecting our military.

LSU has as much Military connection as Texas A&M. Hence the “Ole War Skul” moniker.

probably not. IF TAMU loses, they'll be spooning and soaking in the locker room to cope. If they win, their mouths will be too full to sing.

May be the most bizarre hang up I've ever seen on here.

WRONG....the Aggies are one of the six Senior Military Colleges (Norwich, VMI, the Citadel, Virginia Tech, North Georgia and A&M). Now not all of the cadets have a ROTC commitment, but over 50% of the Corps at TAMU get commissioned.

Wrong…..

“There is no military obligation when you join the Corps of Cadets. Cadets are required to take ROTC classes during their freshman and sophomore years as these classes provide formal leadership education and practical leadership experience. Over 60% graduates go on to pursue careers in public and private sectors that are not military related.”

From tamu.edu website.

And if you believe they’re credible then there’s also this:

“Reveille, the highest-ranking member in the Corps of Cadets, is Texas A&M’s official mascot.”
A dog is the highest ranking official.

Not so fast (holds pencil up)...if you are on a ROTC scholarship, you certainly do have a military obligation.
The figure I got last week from Cadets of the Ole War Skule indicated that 45% of the cadets weren't on a commissioning track.

Maybe you should check their brochure. 97% receive scholarships but aren’t still obligated to join military.

Edit: it does say eligible cadets so maybe I’m wrong and misreading but I do think you’re giving these clowns too much credit.
