Maybe enhancing the comfort of the seating would be a good reason to downsize the seating capacity. But what difference does open seats make?

um it makes it looks like no one cares and takes away from the atmosphere when it’s not remotely full

I’ll be there, I’m just saying excuses for others. I’m working thanksgiving and work til around 9 pm Friday. Will wake up around 5 am, drive into town and will be on field pre-game

Do away with bench seating throughout the stadium and replace it with chair backs.

People always say this and I agree with it, but it also means a lot of ticket holders will be forced to the uppers or lose their tickets. And nobody really wants to sit in the uppers to begin with.

The Florida game was a sellout

Maybe tickets purchased it was but I drove from Brightside to Skip Bertman in 5 minutes around 5pm. There was nobody at that game and the 4th quarter was empty

Frick that!

All the Trash can go kill something next week.

You got 7 days a year of LSU football.

Have your arse in that stadium at 11am if you live close by.

A better Mediocrity Bowl and JD5 Heisman are on the line.

The south end zone expansion looks cool, but it’s unnecessary. Stadium was better without it. The PA system sounded better, the nose bleeds weren’t as empty as often, and it wasn’t as bright from the ad overload

Fact of the matter is, unless it's an instant classic of a game, it's a lot more fun, cheaper and easier (in terms of getting there, parking, leaving) to watch a football game at home on a big arse HD TV with good food and friends.

11:00 kickoff against a 5-6 football team on Thanksgiving weekend. Shocking there are a lot of tickets available

What about all of the other home games that LSU doesn’t fill the stadium?

From the LSU Ticket Office or from secondary sellers?

If it is the secondary market, those tickets have been sold by LSU and LSU got the $$$ for them. What a purchaser chooses to do with the tickets is not an LSU problem.

Game would not be sold out if it kicked off at 6 or 7pm.

1. We did not sell out our season tickets again.

2. Ags did not sellout their 5K-6K visitors allotment. In fact no team we played in TS in 2023 sold out their allotment.

3. More tickets are always available for the after T-giving game because LSUAD sells some student tickets to the general public.

I have no idea how many corporate seats there are. However if there is a reduced amount of seats available maybe they become more desirable.

Don’t think most of you guys understand how business works. It’s a constant talk about how LSU has priced out the casual fan… So the solutions are to reduce capacity, which in return would make ticket prices insanely expensive. Time to accept most just enjoy the comforts of home these days.

Last home game for our Heisman Finalist QB and we can’t even sell it out. Absolutely pathetic. I’ll be there. Jayden deserves that.
