Super peaceful day today cooking and watching football.

We don't live close to family and wife had to work today.

Not a bad day

Same - wife worked last night and works tonight so she's been asleep all day. Kids slept in until after noon and they've spent all day upstairs playing games online with their friends.

Its been football and tinkering in the kitchen all day for me.

BBQ and pie at 5:30. More pie at 6, 6:30, 7, etc.

ETA - traditional thanksgiving on Saturday with my extended fam

Nephew and his girlfriend just showed up at momenems with their dog and expected to bring it in the house. Dad put the stop to that with the quickness. Dog is in the car now but there is pouting. After a few more white cans I’m betting the dog comes back in…

I’m disappoint- they left before pop even finished his plate. No dessert; just poof like a fart in the wind. my OT Brethren

Well, things are winding down here. Everyone has left except us and we’re about to head home. Glad I could entertain you all on this day. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Sorry dude, no drama here. I'm alone maple syrup/brown sugar glazed ham was damn good. Sweet taters glazed the same way w/ added butter(may never go back to simple sweet taters again). Stuffing in chicken broth on moist side with brown seasoned gravy (breaking my arm slapping my back), Texas toast on cast iron griddle. Water(BOR-ING)

Enjoying vodka and powerade now. Have leftovers on the ready for later. Ice cream or cereal for dessert.

Edit: I eff'ed up the order of pecan pie. I will get it in the morrow. I absolutely failed on that front.

I set down a cup of Nog and bourbon for a moment. Came back to find the chihuahua/whippet face down in it. She’s now sleeping and cutting napalm sewer farts.

While no fireworks, at least yet, there has been a rather shocking and significant update. My wife’s cousin, the drug addict, has just come out to my wife and I as lesbian. She even showed us a picture of her girlfriend, a rather large black woman. I think we’ll keep this to ourselves as the aunts would lose their minds.

What would trigger the aunties more, the scissoring or the swirling?

I got so sick of having no seasons when I lived in so. Fl, especially around the holidays, we built a new house with a fireplace one year and it got reasonably cool outside so I turned down the AC and we had a fire for Christmas

Around the holidays, if it gets under 70 I'm having a fire. I'll open the windows if I have to so it doesn't get too hot inside lol

Apparently the Yorkie was biding his time and hiding beneath the table and decided to attack Carlos, the undocumented waiter

One of my kids fell in the pool. It's not heated, it's freezing. Dude fell in 100%.

He's currently wearing some women's shorts and a T-shirt that's 12 sizes to big.

He's mad that we laughed at him.

I am just waking up from a very nice nap, just in time from the egg bowl. I doesn’t look like I missed a ton but all quiet here in mobile. It’s even nice and cold outside.

About to put a fire in fireplace, grab a nice hot Hotty toddy, watch the egg bowl and take another nap. Life is hard. Lol.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
