Don’t know why you are laughing bc that’s exactly how it works. NIL money is paid out in installments, and not as a lump sum. For example if you hear about an athlete getting a $100K NIL deal it will be paid out in 4 $25K installments. If the player quits after getting their first $25K payment, they forfeit the $75K remaining balance.

Reese has signed a multitude of contracts with national/multi-national brands for the use of her Name, Image and Likeness. Said contracts are between Reese and the Company and these contracts have nothing to do with LSU (who is not a party to said contracts). Depends on the contract and who it is with. If the contract is with a national brand I would expect this to have zero effect on the contract. If she has NIL money dependent on appearance, then she won't get any more appearances so she will forfeit future earnings from that. The same would hold for anything dependent on future work products like commercials, if they don't get shot then no future NIL money. But she keeps anything she has earned thus far, she doesn't forfeit ALL NIL money as was stated.

You can’t know for sure unless you read the terms of the contracts. Each could have different provisions regarding playing for LSU, being an NCAA athlete, etc.
