This kid is the youngest player on the pels and has shown enormous growth this year. He is a future stud for this team.
I’ve said he reminds me of a bigger Derrick White

I was super high on him and glad we drafted him. One of the few picks I was happy Griff made. I thought it was funny posters shitting on him last year and early this year. I said it was gonna take him 3-4 years to see what he really can become. Just needs to develop his 3 and finishing.

I never understood the hate he got here. I think it's because he was a top 10 pick people think he should be a 20/10 guy. Dyson's final form is going to be more like 10-15 points, 5-7 assists, 6-8 rebounds while playing elite defense. That may not be sexy, but that's still very productive and very useful.

I was excited about the pick. Early last season he looked great then not so great. It’s understandable considering he’s still so young. I’m glad he’s developed nicely and still has a nice high ceiling. If he starts scoring 10-15 per game, he’s going to be an absolute stud for this team.

Hardly any rookies, ESPECIALLY at that age… come in and make a consistent positive impact.
Also the general NBA fan doesn’t know their arse from their elbow.
Glad he’s showing out with the opportunity he’s been given this season, so far.
Makes it quite exciting looking at our depth when we finally get out of this injury bug… if we ever do!

Borrego's offense has really let him showcase his skillset. I can see him reaching his ceiling.

Dysons ceiling is Lonzo, but I think he’s gonna be much better around the rim IMO.

His start to the season is better than any Lonzo stretch.

Dyson is essentially averaging 10 pts/ 6 ast/ 5 reb/ 1.5 stl at 20 y/o. Herb was also 23/24 y/o when he was drafted and Dyson has 3 more years just to reach the same level of defense as Herb by the same age.
This is the stat that blow peoples minds when they have trouble calculating why Herb was a 2nd rd pick and why Dyson was a top 10 pick.

Dyson’s defense is light years better than Lonzo’s, and Lonzo was a good defender.
Dysons floor is Lonzo, not ceiling.

Dyson and lonzo are polar opposites when it comes to scoring. Dyson needs to attack the basket and only take catch and shoot threes when he’s wide open. Lonzo was a 40% three point shooter who couldn’t finish around the rim. It’s a weird comparison and doesn’t work.

I was a bit worried about his prospects for this season as he still looked very timid in the paint in SL.
But he looks entirely different from just SL already, which is great news.

He has never been a 40% 3pt shooter.

For 35 games. He got streaky for us too.

He shot over 42% from 3 on over 7 app his last year playing before his knee turned to dust. Dyson will be a better interior finisher but I don’t see Dyson shooting above league average anywhere on the court. He is still gonna be a rock solid player because he will be an elite defensive player with very good passing and rebounding. Ideally he just needs to hit open shots and be aggressive enough so other teams can’t put their star player on him to rest on defense. 85% of our shots should be taken by Zion BI CJ Trey and JV.

He played 50 games that year and ever since Fred Vinson got ahold of him he hasn’t shot worse than 38% from 3 on high volume. He was a good 3 point shooter bro.

Almost half a season sample size is not streaky

Not for the Bulls. He played 35.

He was streaky as frick. He shot 45% one month, then the last 20 games or so for us he shot 36%.
