Enjoy your tax cut.

A conservative who wants to control speech?
I think her recent proposal should be a no-go, but it's not "controlling speech."
It's disallowing ANONYMOUS speech on certain platforms. You can still say whatever you want, you just have to say it as yourself.
That might be a concession worth allowing IF:
1. It was the only way to prevent the foreign government influence on social media, which I highly doubt is the case.
AND
2. We were serious about not allowing selective prosecution and government retribution. If Ron DeSantis transparently punishing Disney for criticizing one of his government initiatives wasn't enough to demonstrate that we're not serious about that at all, I trust the very obvious political persecution of Trump and others removes every shadow of every doubt.
So I get it, that's a no-go. But let's not mischaracterize it as something it's not.
And frankly, I'm not more concerned about Haley doing violence to the Constitution than I am DeSantis and Trump, who have already violated it while she's just talking about it in what is almost certainly a campaign promise that will go unfulfilled.
(How did Trump violate the Constitution? Here's a short list, but we can start with three words...COVID, bump stocks.) LINK

What, specifically, did Trump do during COVID that violated the constitution?

No simply reporting the poll but if the choice is Haley vs Trump on my primary ballot I will vote Haley. She is a much more conservative choice.
I don't think she do something like hire John Bolton.
Dude she IS John Bolton are you serious right now?
She's the Raytheon candidate

These are Trumps COVID sins?

The “conservatives” in that thread want to physically harm people who protest.
I’d wager they’re talking about the leftist scum who’ve been known to block streets, cut off access for emergency vehicles to get through, and randomly attack motorists who are just trying to get somewhere.

Not voting for war monger.

There are several key parts of the McConnell Ryan 2017 tax cut set to sunset in 2025. I was told by a member of Congress this summer McCarty was planning on adding extensions to those cuts in the spending authorization deals now being debated.
I hope Johnson does that. I doubt that CR they passed this week will have them but hopefully one of the 12 spending authorization bills will have.
Things like this are why electing republicans is important and highlight the trouble Trump caused in 2020 in Georgia when he told his devout followers to stay home for that senate run off.

I’m aware. I do like that you try to distance trump from the cuts by calling it the McConnell Ryan tax cut. Do we get to do the same for spending?

There is zero chance the estate tax exemption doesn’t re-set. Very small chance the income tax rates stay the same. The only thing they might address is the corporate tax rate, but I doubt it.

Never mind what i said about going back to the pre-up/downvote days on TD. I would miss downvoting this with all 84 of my alters.

Surprised at the massive downvotes. Polls are the mothers milk around here now.

America wants Haley as bad as they wanted Mitt Romney or John McCain

My 85 downvotes were more about calling her a “conservative,” especially the way Chinaman phrased it.
