Great turnout but thinned out early. Good times though.

Idk that’s like new stuff

Seemed like everybody there was in it for the run from southern rock opera to dirty south

Lookout Mountain to Pin Hits The Shell was the highlight for me.

Patterson and Cooley have picked quite an ensemble of bandmates. That kid on stage left was cracking us up the whole time.

We wanted to go but weather made us back out. Was surprised to see it didn’t sell out, thought they had a big following down here I know I’ve seen them posted on this board several times

I caught them in Chattanooga a couple weeks ago. Had American Aquarium opening. BJ Barham was great. I'm not a huge fan of either band, especially Patterson Hood, but it was a great show. No political bullshite. Just rocking out

So...did they not play a song? How did this work at a DBT show?

The Bass Player, Matt Patton, was the bass player for the Dexateens, who were awesome. Tuscaloosa's finest.

I feel sorry for people who allow the artist’s political beliefs ruin a good show.

I was there. Was okay.

I'm so tired of lousy PAs where you can't understand a single word coming out a singers mouth.

Cooley is a national treasure. Big fan of the Truckers, although I don't see them as much as I used to.

'05ish DBT were untouchable

chelsea's has one of the BEST sound boards and PA's in the country. it's not the PA. it's the DBT sound guy mixing. They like the vocals buried underneath the guitars. that's how they've sounded live for 20+ years. So you can't blame chelsea's for that mix. that's how the band wants it. does it make sense? to them it does, but I agree with you, I like hearing vocals on top of the guitar mix, not below it.

Dexateens

best rock and roll band i've ever seen live, right next to lee bains and the glory fires. makes sense that lee was in the dexateens for a stint as well.
