BK is not serious about winning a title if he keeps this defensive staff

I get defending your coaches. No coach wants to come in and get thrown under the bus at the first sign of adversity but, you can't be serious.

I'm sitting here actually contemplating whether Perkins is here or not next season with how much House has fricked up his career with the lack of development.

I have to somehow get excited over 3* corners because our CB coach couldn't keep the commitments of TWO! top 150 prospects at our biggest position of need.

I'm also legitimately wondering what our defensive line looks like (possibly worse than our CB room this year) because there is no one to recruit the position.

You have to replace House. You have to replace the position coaches who lose every meaningful recruiting battle. That HAS to include Steeples and Cooks. They're abysmal. Only person you spare is Lindsey if you think he's recovered from his health issues and can recruit at a high level.

If you don't make a change with the staff, BK is wasting everyone's time. I don't know how you convince yourself BK will have that "3rd year leap" if everything remains the same.

It's so weird that during the Les Miles years we were bitching about the lack of offense. My, how times change. I agree with you. Heads need to roll on defense.

Why not wait to see what he does before bitching?

That is not how he does business, they will all find "new" dream jobs.

CBK is definitely making changes. To what extent , I do not know. Best guess is new CB and DL coach. Could be a complete overhaul from DC on down, but House's extension he signed leaves some uncertainty.

I’ve read your case. BK thoughts and plans are pretty well known. You two are just not on the same page. IMO he’s 98% more correct. You get 2% because a blind hog occasionally finds an acorn.

I agree with you but the future is unknown. What I do know, however, is that the Rant has been wrong wayyyy more than it has been right about things. I wouldn't like it, but I’d still give Kelly the benefit of the doubt if he keeps him. There are things that go on behind the scenes that none of us ever know about.

Maybe just maybe, he is trying to keep the team together for the last 2 games. What good would it do to fire the dc with 2 games to go? Look at BK’s history. He is not afraid to make a change if it’s needed. After the season is over, and he doesn’t make a change, feel free to bitch.

If the damn Defense stopped 6 more TDs from happening this year we’d be undefeated.

This whole entire year was wasted by our Defense. He needs to clean House today.

He wasn’t a good hire to begin with. Hate that he had medical issues but BK had a list of trait he wanted with the next DL coach and Lindsey didn’t check off any of the boxes. Him coaching at one of the worst schools in the SEC is the only notable thing on his resume.

I’m curious if it’s House or BK making the calls on who to hire for assistants. BK did say that House is “the only voice in the room” for the defense. Does that voice hire these under qualified assistant coaches?

Nice preemptive melt. Kelly fired his right hand man last year in Polian because he did such a shite job on special teams. If Kelly is willing to do that, he's willing to fire any coach on his staff. Just let it play out.

No one has a problem or disagrees with what you say, the problem is you are melting and pearl clutching prematurely. What makes you think Kelly won’t make changes?
