Article earlier this week:

We mentioned Jayden Daniels earlier. The LSU quarterback opened the season amongst the leaders for the award with odds of +1600. The early loss to Florida State sent he and the Tigers scuffling for a few weeks during which time his odds went south to a low of +4000 in Week 3. His numbers, though, have forced voters and bettors to take notice. As a result, his current odds (+300) are the lowest he’s enjoyed to date even with LSU suffering a loss at Alabama this past weekend. All that said, Daniels has no further opportunities to shine in front of a national audience before votes must be cast.

Without JD our team is nothing. No player means more to his team than JD

Highlight reel of a turnover and not being able to get a first down/move the ball when up two scores in the 4th.

Couple that with the beat down only scoring 17 points (minus garbage time TD) on national TV against FSU. Across the nation he isn’t viewed as we view him which sucks

He should be #1. Seriously. But it’s political.

Harrison is not even the second best receiver. He is a top 5 receiver but he is the 5th

How in the frick is Harrison Jr. even on the list? His numbers are equal to Nabers

If his last name were SMITH he would not be on the list. It's all about his Daddy was an all-pro so his id must be great. Had Thadeus Moss been WR 1 instead of WR 3, there would be the same hype.

It’s not 1980 anymore, regional voting doesn’t mean as much.

Anybody ranking JD5 in fourth isn’t actually watching him play.

Odds really aren't a ranking or a prediction of who will win . They're an effort to even out the betting so that the house isn't taking a side. The house only wants the vig.

Not his performance in the game just the fact that we lost to OM. Only slight they can think of is how LSU has lost 3 games.

I don't care what the odds are In Vegas. JD will be the first QB selected. NFL coaches know who the best guy is on the field.

They don't care about Voting odds.
