Zion after tonight's game.

Zion seems to have completely dropped the fake persona. He had some good comments that show self awareness on what needs to get better, including himself. I don't know how many more games until he's in the shape he needs to be in, but when he is, hopefully he takes the reins from BI and starts leading the team.

The people who hate on Zion are bonafide retards lol. It’s easy to spot the low IQs

The bench had 7 points
Every starter had a positive +/-
How are some of you so stupid to put this game on BI or Zion. How do you tie your shoes in the morning

He's playing at an all star level right now. This team needs him to play like the superstar we expect him to be.

The only thing I hate about Zion is his inability to be a fricking professional and come into a season in shape. He’s got all the resources in the world and can’t fricking do it.

Buddy doesn’t have the breath right now. Is any other team waiting on its superstar to get in shape?

People keep saying Zion is out of shape but he's not he is just not in peak shape he needs to be for his style of play to be effective for the entire game. That is what we saw in December of last season. I'm just hoping we can get enough players back with Trey being the most important piece that Zion doesn't have the high usage that he had last year.

This franchise has A LOT of fricking problems, but Zion IMO isn't at all one of them.

I can agree with this to an extent but Zion is not fat, he is not even close to why we lost the game. He had a clutch chase down block late in the 4th. Our bench flat out fricking sucks, it’s easy to point the finger at the superstar but it’s clear our bench as a whole lost us this game. Nance is god awful and Cody Zeller is getting meaningful minutes. We should want to win but be realistic when end of bench guys are on the court for meaningful minutes

Shaq used to do this too. The difference was Shaq had enough size to be good on both sides of the ball regardless of the shape he was in. But yeah, there's no way to sugar coat this as acceptable, it's just the hand we have to play.

Hopefully fatherhood changes his focus and we don't have to wait until December every year for him to show up.

This. Until he does this I have no respect or expectations for this team

Not 23 year old Shaq though

Zion was getting whatever he wanted early on. He should be feasting in the 4Q in game like this, closing it out. Next to impossible to play your game with the fouls and that conditioning

Z is not in great shape. But he's getting better. Bench is thin right now, but we're down a bunch of guys. Still a ways to go, but thought our stars looked better tonight. Tough stretch of games coming...

He had a horrible turnover up 100-95 that sparked the collapse.

Honestly, the people who defend Zion are the dumbest people on the planet.

They also likely still believe in Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

How many points did he score in the 4th as they were losing? How many shots did he take? Is the production what you'd expect from what people try to hype as the future of the NBA?

Addressing a few posts here.

Zion is not fat in the slightest, he’s working himself into basketball shape, which takes time when you hadn’t played in 9 months.

Zion being at 5 fouls hindered end of game more than conditioning IMO, we couldn’t afford for him to pick up a 6th.

This is the dumbest one of all. Did you watch the game? They barely tried to get Zion the ball, they kept trying to force feed it to Ingram.

Phoenix, Lakers, Bucks, Miami, Clippers
