Lauri just had 17 rebounds today,
Lauri is not a good rebounder. A Lauri/Zion combo of bigs is likely the worst rebounding team in the NBA, and the full starting 5 is on the shortlist of worst defenses. I think both of those are fairly obvious IMO.

Every potential lineup has strengths and weaknesses.

No one on our team is like Markkanen. I think he could take BI's role though.

We drafted guys who can't shoot but we also drafted guys who can really shoot. There's a balance in that. And it t all us years to get here.
Nice if a player can shoot AND play great D entering the league. But hard to find. Of the two, I'd prefer a great defender who I can develope into an average (or better) shooter, assuming he has the work ethic, which great defenders usually do. Lotta NBA guys learned to shoot AFTER entering the NBA. VERY few shooters became solid defenders, AFTER entering the NBA.
I'm always on the lookout for another "Kawhi Leonard"...preferably WITHOUT...the "Uncle Dennis".

Eh.. when you're picking as high as they are year in and year out, that's not really a good excuse. You can blame their scouting department and whoever is in charge of making the picks. They had plenty of opportunities and they squandered it.

Not true.

Detroit's biggest problem is that Cade Cunningham is looking more and more like a complete bust. He's just been bad this season.
Hollinger:
quote:
Fun fact: Of the 11 Pistons with at least 100 minutes played this year, Cade Cunningham is 11th in PER and BPM.
And that's not really a scouting failure. Everyone thought that Cade was the best player in his draft. You can blame the organization and say that Detroit hasn't developed him, or you can blame the player and say that Cade just hasn't developed.
Either way, this is the result.

What is NOT going wrong for the Grizzlies?

So...it's now 138-135 with 5 minutes to play. Sometimes, it's really hard to take the NBA seriously.

Capela didn’t even check in during the 4th. Both teams put their 5 best scorers out there cause absolutely zero defense was being played. It was embarrassing, but neither of those teams have a prayer in the playoffs playing like that. Herb and Dyson would have them in torture chambers

Scott Foster just did Scott Foster things to Chris Paul. Crazy.

I think our court is one of the best In Season Tournament courts
But every clip I see on that Hawks court reminds me just how good it is. That’s #1 to me for sure

You have a very strange level of emotional investment in this, and yes, it was widely reported and is more than fan proposals.
These Lauri M posts always make me feel warm and fuzzy inside since no one wanted him on here and I took a lot of shite for saying Griff shoulda pulled the trigger the two times he had the chance.

Things are uhhhhhh not looking good for Josh Giddey right now
Posted on 11/23/23 at 6:28 am to Terrific Tales
Oh wow. Thanks for the heads-up. So, she's a junior in high school?
I don't see anything on any news site right now, not even TMZ.
Some of Giddey's defenders are saying that the rumors are wrong and that she's 18.

Is she from the US or Australia?
In Australia the AOC is 16, so wouldn’t be an issue if it happened there. If it was in US, he’s fricked, literally and figuratively
