Biden IRS Launches Audit Into Conservative.Org That Helped Tank Nominees for Admin Posts

The IRS is investigating the tax-exempt status of the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) following its reporting on President Joe Biden’s nominees, according to a letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The IRS is requesting AAF submit internal financial data as well as communications, including meeting notes, publications and newsletters, according to the letter from the IRS to AAF obtained by the DCNF. The conservative nonprofit organization, which the IRS approved for tax-exempt status in August 2021, alleges the investigation is in retaliation for the AAF reporting on several recent Biden nominees who later withdrew their nominations.
“This sudden request by the IRS is not random,” AAF President Tom Jones stated. “The IRS is demanding ‘[c]orrespondence files, emails and information posted on a website that relates to current public elected officials’ – clearly a sign that they are targeting our research and education activities. It’s a deliberate attempt to punish and suppress AAF’s activities. It is surely no coincidence that AAF—the very organization that exposed the weaponization of the IRS—is now the target of it.”
AAF has actively criticized several Biden nominees, calling on them to withdraw.
For instance, Biden’s FCC chair nominee Gigi Sohn donated to several Senate Commerce Democrats, including $550 to Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock, $100 to Democratic Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto and John Fetterman and $200 to Democratic Sen. Michael Bennett, according to The Washington Examiner. AAF sent a letter to Bennett, Cortez, Masto, Fetterman and Warnock, calling on the lawmakers that received contributions to recuse themselves from voting on Sohn’s nomination and calling for Sohn to withdraw.

I would say that there is a chance that this could, legitimately, could be a coincidence (most likely not, but COULD be) until I read this. Why does the IRS need any of this information? My understanding is that the IRS is all about monetary issues, what do they need meeting notes and communications for out of the gate?

IRS targeting conservative organizations? Geez this sounds familiar.

There is just as much chance I could legitimately bump my head on the moon if I jumped high enough.
Do they think the people have forgotten how the IRS was weaponized already? They no longer fear the people, especially when 1/2 are willfully ignorant and are actively cheering them on.

Every non-profit/tax-exempt organization should have their status reviewed every year. That's not what this is, of course, but Biden and his handlers are pieces of shite who are turning the country into a banana republic so it's par for the course with him.

This regime will stop at nothing to stop its rivals.

Can anyone cite where political lobbyists, foundations, think-tanks that are politically left that have been scrutinized much less audited?
Let's start with John Brennan being a member of a lot of shady think-tanks, one associated with CCP infiltration... LINK
Disgraced Former CIA Chief John Brennan Joins ‘Secretive’ Firm Staffing Biden White House
IIRC: Biden pulled him back into the IC.
Will the McCain, Obama, Clinton Foundations be audited?
Will the Brookings institute ever be audited? Will the DOJ NSD ever have checks and balances and be audited?

If the IRS wants this then the AAF should have the right to request the same from the IRS. All internal communication about how this audit got triggered to prove if there was a non/legit reason or random.

They can. They can file a FOIA.

The American State is the Russian State now.
That’s why they can’t get along. They are to similar.

Is Lois Lerner back on the job?

I would assume the IRS would claim Deliberative Process exception.

They get away with things like this because:
1. Press buries these things and doesn't ever report on them because they agree with anything done bad to conservatives
2. Only a select few Republicans will ever call out what is going on and fight for fairness
3. Because the media doesn't cover things like this, the idiots who only get their news from MSM will be ignorant that things like this are happening and fall into the conspiracy theory that Republicans are being treated this way because there is no public proof from MSM
Rinse and repeat with every single thing done by Biden Administration that infringes on rights and bypasses lawful legislation in favor of executive orders and government agencies shaping public policy - textbook Obama blueprint for deceptiveness

Probably under "the guise" of them having non profit status. They have done this before, like the Clinton Foundation
