Hey, if you are talking about Seafood and Chicken Express at 2200 Ms-39 in Meridian, I think they are still open. I got worried when I saw your post because I love that place too. Their shrimp po boy is unreal. I live in Tennessee but would go thru there every year or so. I just called them and they said they were open, so maybe they were just closed for the day. That place is fantastic. Anyway, you might want to try them again next time you are in Meridian.

George’s. I love the owner and the staff. Can I get a better meal in BR? Yes. At many places. But I’d rather eat a burger or po-boy and talk with Tony.

Thanks for the information. Maybe We will drive to Meridian to see.

Dairy Hill. Old time drive in that’s been around since the 30’s. Best corn dogs and milkshakes anywhere. They’re open seasonal but they make a killing.

Their shrimp creole is a flavor explosion, and I've never been disappointed with any meal there. Honestly, it's become my fail-proof go-to spot.
Now, here's a little twist – ever tried their shrimp creole served on redfish on the half shell? Absolute perfection! It's become my at-home indulgence when I order to go. The combination of flavors is next level!

Hopefully Smoky's son doesn't screw this up.

Aren't these the same thing? Or does dolmades cover other stuffed things besides grape leaves?

Favalora’s in Arabi
When I worked at Jackson Barracks many years ago, we used to go to Favalora's, Araba Grocery and Rocky & Carlos for lunch.

I live in Marietta, GA. For such a populated area, it has the worst restaurants anywhere I've lived and that includes some very small towns.
I guess I would say West Cobb Diner, which is pretty good but a damn shame to be listed as the best.
