The Red-bellied Woodpecker is an absolutely terrible name.

ETA: I want just ONE person to put forth the effort to figure out why the above-mentioned bird is inappropriately named. I bet no one will.

So they are digging through a bunch of old dead guys lives and if they did anything against THEIR modern stupid sensibilities, (and of COURSE they will) they will actively work to erase them from history.
