I like Zy Alexander and Denver Harris but................. I promise you the drop off to the freshman corners is not that big of a difference if there is any. I'm honestly confused as to why these guys haven't seen the field in a larger role yet this season. Stamps was the breakout star in fall camp and Welch was a break out star in spring ball. They'll make mistakes, but I ultimately think they surprise some people who are writing them off.

The good news is that Bryce young/Tua, Jeudy, Waddle, Smith aren't walking out the tunnel for Bama on Sat.

The pregame meal at Alabama is already set.

T-bone steak, cheese eggs and Welch's grape
Pregame' Warm-ups for a few, 'cause at 6:45 on CBS we gon' do
What we came to do

Throw your hands in the air if you's a true player

Reminder, Kick-off is set for 6:45 Boosie/7:45 Notorious B.I.G./4:45 Tupac

Yeah don’t know what the deal with him is, but BK doesn’t even mention him when talking about who might play.

I’m assuming he won’t see the field.

I believe he's available. Why we don't see/hear about him more often, I have no idea..

What exactly are you basing this statement on? Do you think that Kelly was intentionally holding out our best defensive backs?

It’s people talking themselves into hope.

I promise you the jump from Zy to Jeremiah Hughes is very very high

Made a really nice play busting a screen block and getting tackle for a loss. Not many of our cbs have done that this yr. Everyone on defense looked horrible that game. Safeties and linebackers looked like they were playing no contact flag football

Lol, ok.

Look, they might play well, but it’s much more likely they don’t because they just haven’t had that many reps and this is a tough game to break in.

Not to mention the one who has technically played in the most games (Welch) still seems to be MIA.

I'm basing the statement on the fact that the guys that are unavailable aren't particularly lock down guys. It's not like we are going from Stingley to Stamps.

Definitely need better coaching in the secondary. That’s why BK is helping out.

We all know they aren’t lockdown guys. But if a guy like Hughes is just as good as Harris or Alexander, why hasn’t he been playing? Fact of the matter is that if Harris wasn’t a head case and Zy didn’t get hurt, guys like Hughes and Toviano wouldn’t be playing this weekend.

Alexander and Harris might be 1% better which is why they see the field more. Which goes back to my point about the drop-off not being that big.

I understand that you think that. I’m asking you what you have seen that makes you think that.

So was Welch. Welch made 1 tackle and missed at least 5. He isn’t good. That’s why he’s been a healthy scratch since then.
