That was with a grocery store discount of 20¢, but even so prices are low in this part of Texas. Gasoline prices that low are going to frick up the economics of EV and solar panels.

The new “low”.

EV aren’t about the economy.

EVs are about limiting mobility of a free people.
Outlaw fossil fuels.
Make personal transportation too expensive except for the elite.

Easy population to keep corralled.

There is no global climate crisis.
Start there.

Not really.

And the only thing wrong with EV and solar is when they're forced on people with legislation.

You are aware you probably should be paying closer to 1.40.

The laws of thermodynamics and EROI are undefeated ... price has nothing to do with it.

And what the other guy said, the agenda for renewables has nothing to do with "saving the planet" ...

And what the other guy said ... about $1.10 of that price are Federal/State taxes so you're overpaying anyway.

That is the price of gas in 1970 adjusted for inflation.

Yes, that's low.

It's low comparative to what we've seen as of late.

That aside, I filled up in Texas City last weekend for $2.57/gal

Get it back down to a buck eighty like it was during the era of Trump the Great and then maybe I would start calling it "low."

A big-shot oilfield buddy once told me that gas would be dirt cheap if the market really understood how much oil is still in the ground.

But like the guy at Shell said, "The stone age did not end because the world ran out of stones, and the oil age will not end because we run out of oil."
