I've never seen it completely full, but have never been able to park on anything except the roof on 7 and that has been almost full every time. They needed two more decks on the garage IMO.

I always park in short term lot. I travel very often for work. I frequently check the MSY website on my phone the night before and before I leave the house for an idea of the parking situation. I don’t usually have an issue on early morning flights but mid-late day flights, the lots may be full. When this happens I’ll just go straight to Economy Parking (old MSY) and there’s usually always a bus ready to go.

Checking the website is definitely the way to go if you want to park on property.

I fly out almost weekly. I try to avoid US Park just for all the extra travel time. I only use them if we are leaving for a week long vacation with the kids, and I need to reserve a spot.

I have only been sent to the overfill lot twice - truth be told, it only added 15-20 minutes to get to the airport. TSA is never more than 20-30 minutes for the regular line, and despite the length of the line, TSA/Clear is usually 10 minutes or less.

I would be surprised if you miss your flight, but general recommendation is two hours before your domestic departure.

TSA isn't that bad at MSY. Usually <= than 30 mins.

Holy hell you have low standards. My time in PreCheck/Clear lines in IAH (terminal D) is *always* under 10m. Even the poors that go through there are out in under 15 except in rare circumstances. Even if I'm flying out of C or E, I elect to go through D (that's where the Priority Pass lounges are.)

You had a reservation at which lot?
Did they let you enter the lot?

On a normal day the TSA precheck line is as long as the regular line.

What? I use pre check all the time and I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes. It’s usually 5 or less.
