Or do you mean the "Holy shite this team is making stupid decisions and it will negatively affect the team" posts?

Then why ever comment about the Saints about literally anything?

I mean, aw shucks, we're just along for the ride and need to sit on our hands.

As opposed to the hundreds of "carr sucks" and "carmichael sucks" threads spamming the board?

We're historically bad as a franchise. 8-8 was a pinnacle long ago. First playoff win was in 2000 - almost 4 decades later. Point being - we're kinda used to it.

It isn't great.

They should've hired a new oc and and let that oc decide who he wanted at qb.

Now they extended ruiz, who hasn't played well his entire contract. They already benched penning.

The real hurt is going to come in that cam contract and some of the other vets.

I thought Carr could be decent as a Saint. He actually looked decent to start the year.

His Redzone qb'ing is not good.
Him paired with Peter Carmichael is a disaster. Carr can be serviceable with the right oc

I did, too. I was critical of the signing for cap purposes but I thought he'd be OK. I was wrong.

Even if he makes some of these throws the Saints are fine.

I never thought the Saints were going to be great but I thought they could win 9 or 10 games.

Carr started the season off well. I do think there is something brewing between him and some of the wrs

This entire offense is infuriating.

So by LoserHills eval we should have Mac Jones. Got it.

What if I told you Mac Jones is better than Derek Carr?

Enjoy the copium you're on with all the anal fissures and blown out a-hole from dickriding Carr all offseason. The hens have come to roost.

Fans should expect good decision-making from the FO/coaches. This is all a discussion about decision-making and not the "New Orleans Saints." The team has just engaged in terrible decision-making that the aforementioned passive fandom cheered on in the offseason.

You're making a 140 IQ argument to an 85 IQ fanbase.

I would say “define better”. If you think the Saints would be better in a significant way with Jones you don’t understand the issues any better then the fans you imagine you are dunking on.

Mac Jones just carved up the league's #7 overall pass defense to the tune of 25/30, 272 yards, and 2 TD. 83.3% completion percentage. His WR1, Juju, did not play and was throwing to scrubs like Kendrick Bourne, Demario Douglas and Pharaoh Brown.

Carrbage just went against the league's 31st ranked pass defense and couldn't sustain a drive until the 4th quarter.

The talent around Carr is exponentially better than the talent around Mac and needs to be taken into context. Mac is young and had some rough outings this year and last, but that's bound to happen when you have a defensive coordinator and a special teams coordinator splitting play calling last year and your team hasn't drafted a WR worth a shite in like 20 years.

Damn you couldn’t just smoke your victory cigar with your Carr take smh. You’re going to double down and talk about how Mac Jones is a good qb. This is where you lose credibility. Good luck with that take.

When you start your case with the most recent game it tells me you don’t really have one, but the biggest problem is this thought process of ranking players and thinking that’s meaningful in this case. Like all the Carr is top 5 QB in the NFC nonsense. It’s a moot point anyway since Jones wasn’t available. Neither are franchise QBs, though in the right circumstances you can win with guys like that but usually not at a high level at least consistently. The biggest problem with Carr is what he cost given the cap problems they already had. I wanted to just stick with Dalton for a year or 2, and get the cap situation in order. We almost made the playoffs last year with him and a couple of games like the at TB game we’re not on him

I stopped reading here. Sorry you took the time to write anything that came after that.

Anyway, Mac is on a better contract, is younger, smarter, more accurate, and is carrying a wayward, largely talentless offense relative to what Carrbage is working with.

Carrbage is heading into game 8 with 6 passing touchdowns on more attempts than Mac Jones who has 7, and Mac has a higher completion percentage throwing to straight scrubs, too.

Sorry your boy Carr sucks.

Told you so.

Our 2009 squad is an outlier in terms of FAs leading a title. Most titles are grown organically through the draft.

What this team did in the 2022 draft, selecting Olave and Penning and giving up picks to do it, was a disaster for the saints roster strategy.

Whiffing in 2023 FA with the Carr signing is the death knell.

But that 2022 first round really will go down in franchise infamy
