Was talking about this in the barber shop today.

Shreveport has nothing to slow the decline. Nothing. At least Baton Rouge has government and New Orleans has tourism.

This is like comparing AIDS, Ebola and COVID.

Shreveport at least now has a mayor that is trying to move things in the right direction. NOLA and BR are spiraling faster with no end in sight. NOLA's tourism dollars are a fraction of what they should be, BR is hemorrhaging business and population into Texas.

Does Shreveport include Bossier? If so New Orleans, if not, Shreveport.

BR is in the least shitty position of the 3.
With government, LSU, and a good bit of industry.
NOLA tourism, is going to drop a bit.
Shreveport has nothing at all.
I'm not saying BR is in a good spot.
Just, least shitty.

None of the 3 are anywhere near as bad as this board pretends.

Which is the most homogenous

Shreveport is 100x better than either.

Shreveport/Bossier has nukes and Barksdale
Unless the government closes it. The base commander commented on the crime in the area a couple of years ago.

Shreveport mayor is a placeholder. Propped up by blacks mad at Tarver who would have been better. He’s a one-termer. The Africans were paying Tarver back and will gang up on Arceneaux next time.

Just curious. What makes you think New Orleans is going into a downward spiral?
Name the negatives and then name the positives compared to the other 2 cities

I can't really see any of them doing anything but declining further over the next 10-20 years at this point.

How many LA people here have never been to Shreveport?

Demographics, crime, electing idiots, losing educated citizens. I don't really see this turning around in our lifetime unfortunately. Hopefully I'm wrong.
