I think white purple white is better too. We usually have 2 games a year or so where we wear purple, I think we should do WPW one of them and GPG the other

The recruits and players seem to like the white helmet or all whites as well. Whatever they like we should go with

LSU should deviate from the gold/white/gold ONLY WHEN FORCED TO by the opponent.

It's the best looking uniform in college football, and it's also tradition, just like the u-shaped goal posts, and every 5 yards marked off in Tiger Stadium.

Casual, non LSU fans should be in a state of shock when they see LSU wear ANYTHING other than gold/white/gold.

Everybody and their mom has a uniform combo with white helmets. It’s become a cliche.

. They are “H” style goal post and we are one of only 3 teams that use them along with being the only one who uses yard numbers every 5 yards. (Although i don't like the new font they changed to last season). They H style were used until the mid 80s and we switched to the single pole ones. In 1993 they were brought back (by donation) against tulane for the 100th anniversary of lsu football. They stayed around since and they always run through yje goal post not around. The “win” bar as its known is made from a section of the original goal post from the south end-zone. We are one of only 3 schools to use them. Fl state and wash state are the other 2 schools

There appears to be a few lunatics in the LSUAD that are obsessed with wiping out every tradition that ever existed in Tiger Stadium. Why that is?
