OT Lawyers needed: Land lord abusing his power and damaging my dwelling

Long story short I am i have fallen on some hard times with a sustained industry wide lulls, divorce and a long fight with mania/alcoholism. Admittedly I have gotten a bit behind on rent but there’s nothing I can really do with more pressing payments needing to be made. I’m pretty well versed in renters laws and I pay what I can hear and there and basically just enough to not get evicted… shitty I know but my kids need to eat and I try to maintain the status quo to not upset them..
I walked outside this morning to see that my landlord had graffitied my garage door. I’m absolutely livid. My kids are embarrassed as frick and are just wanting to stay with their mom this weekend.. there has to be som recourse. TIA

Why don't you move into an apartment or something cheaper if you are struggling financially? I guarantee you that house is at least 2k/month to rent.
