SANTA FE, N.M. — Special prosecutors said Tuesday they are seeking to recharge actor Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter in the fatal shooting of a cinematographer on the set of a Western movie in New Mexico two years ago.
New Mexico-based prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis said they'll present evidence to grand jury within the next two months, noting that "additional facts" have come to light in the October 2021 fatal shooting on the set of "Rust" during filming on the outskirts of Santa Fe.
He needs to be locked up

What new evidence is needed?
He shot and killed her, due to at least his negligence.
But, since he can afford good attorneys and of his notoriety, he'll never be convicted, let alone spend 5 minutes in prison.

Probation, community service and a restitution-like payment to the family.

I cba to look up their laws on the subject, but I can tell you that in Louisiana, “negligent homicide” for example, requires criminal negligence, not simply negligence. So a gross deviation from the standard of care as opposed to simply a deviation. Wouldn’t surprise me if their statutes draw a similar distinction.

Uh, no shite. Are you twelve? That's how it's always worked for the wealthy. More breaking news at 11.

I think they found new texts, it was a hit.

Guy thought it was a prop gun. I don't like him or his politics either, but I don't understand why prison is the right ending here. He had hired professionals to do their jobs with the props and it was his production, so obviously he's civilly liable big time, but he wasn't criminally negligent.
Or am I missing something?

He knew it to be a real gun. They were literally “playing” with it shooting at targets during downtime on set.

Just imagine the defenses this board would come up with for him if he was conservative.

We actually know not to point and fire a loaded gun at someone. Baldwin is the anti gun tard. You dont point any gun at anyone ever unless you intend to kill them.
Lol you simping for Baldwin

Not simping for him. I don't give a frick if he's found guilty or not.
I just think it's funny how the usual politard mouthbreathers are also the ones who keep giving this case oxygen on the OT.

The crew did it you moron, read your own link

Multiple sources directly connected to the 'Rust' production tell TMZ ... the same gun Alec Baldwin accidentally fired -- hitting the DP and director -- was being used by crews members off set as well, for what we're told amounted to target practice.
