You're just missing the overwhelming need to inject politics into every possible situation. Don't worry though, the OP has it bad enough for several people.

Even if you’re in a film where the professionals were supposed to load it with blanks?

EVER. No matter the circumstances the only time to point a gun at something is if you intention is to shoot it. My son works in the movie industry and he is adamant, as are most people in the industry, that Baldwin did nothing wrong and the firearm master is to blame. The latter is probably true but Baldwin pointed the gun in the direction of a person. That is not something that should ever be done.

What's really troubling to me is the apparent support in the film industry for using actual guns instead of CGI...because it doesn't look right according to most people in the industry. That is just insane. So what? So what if 1 movie goer in 10,000 is put off by a CGI gun shot? My son and his co-workers I have met are adamant that using actual guns with proper controls in place is the only practical way to make a movie, basically because that is how it has always been done. My career in causal analysis has taught me that the best way to have an incident is to do things because that is how things have always been done.

She was working on producing a documentary on Hollywood elites and human trafficking, Chester Bennington was also working on a similar project. Her death was ruled accidental and his suicide. I'm calling bullshite on both claims after I went down that rabbit hole a few years ago. I will try to dig up some of the links if I have time later today.

I asked before and none of the “lock him up” crowd is willing to answer

There is a scene where Baldwin is to push another person off a tall building. After the fall, the actor will land on an inflatable.

Well, the stunts coordinator didn’t properly inflate it and the actor goes straight through and dies after Baldwin pushes him. Lock him up right?.

Chris Pratt, current conservative Hollywood actor, has pointed many guns at people

Actors will all point guns at people

Is this thread even real?

Correct me please but when in a movie and doing a scene, a gun with blanks is handed to you and you shoot in a scene, how in the world would anyone know its a gun loaded with real bullets? I guess im an idiot but hasnt Baldwin been on many sets using props over and over not knowing just like many other actors that someone was going to be shot and killed for real? Isnt this a first? How many actors over a 100 yrs used fake weapons in movies? I can see civil court but how would he ever be tried as a criminal?

It’s somewhat ridiculous to even think this is criminal from Baldwin unless you can prove he purposefully went around protocols to take the gun away from the prop team

I've said that from the beginning. Unless you can prove that AB shot what he knew to be a loaded, real gun at people, there's no way you can argue that he murdered someone.

You can argue that he's legally responsible as a producer or whatever, that's fine. Civil suit, sure. But the whole "He should have known better and now someone is dead!!" angle just was weird to me from the start. It's a movie set, where guns are shot (safely) literally all the time with very few exceptions.

And I'm not even saying I think Baldwin is "innocent," or that he's not an idiot. But the narrative that he killed this girl intentionally (or even somewhat so) was ridiculous IMO.

Ever? Not even on a movie set with fake guns (or whatever the prop guns are called)?

Seems to me that everything surrounding this points to it being an accident, and nothing points to anybody maliciously or intentionally killing some girl. Yet because people hate Baldwin that's the narrative. I can't stand him as a person; I think he comes off as a smug a-hole who thinks his shite doesn't stink. But that doesn't mean I can't separate that from rational thinking and understand that this seems to be nothing more than a movie set accident.

You know how Baldwin and his Progressive buddies on the left are always whining about "white privilege"? Notice how none of them have pointed this out in this case?

Neat how that works. Can literally get away with murder as long as you have money and support the correct ideology.

I believe he is also the Executive Producer for the movie. It’s been a while since I read about this movie, but I seem to recall that there were other safety issues during filming that were not addressed. So you have a movie where Baldwin is the executive producer and main actor, filming a movie that has had a series of safety incidents, and then he fires a loaded weapon and kills a co-worker. Sounds like there is criminal negligence in how this movie was handled from the start, not just the single incident.
