Reference to “legitimate grievances” runs in the face of longstanding US support of Israel. Whether led by D or R, our uniparty government supports the Jewish state. With social media and factionalized politics, people are more vocally advocating for the Palestinians, but that Israeli support remains.
Basically, your assertion is that Palestinians have been taken advantage of and poorly led. That’s not a new narrative in the world of politics. The same could be said of a lot of countries.

I keep saying this. If they want change, they need to fight for it. In 1776 America decided to fight for a change and freedom from tyranny. If others want what we have they need to figure it out and make a stand. Period.

Islam is a 7th century religion trying to rule in a 21st century world. Christianity and Judaism are not perfect, but at least it has progressed and adapted since the Crusades. Yeah the Muslim world contributed to science and all, but what have they contributed in the last 500 or 600 years? As far as the Palestinians go, they are loathed even in the Muslim world. No one wants them. The Palestinians burned their bridges with Jordan in 1970 and Egypt in 2012. The only reason any of them care right now about the Palestinians is because they are useful idiots fighting Israel for them. Hamas is using Joe Palestinian as a human shield, stealing their humanitarian supplies, and preventing them from evacuating. I have little sympathy for them if they are going to let Hamas frick them over and still support them because they hate the Jews more.

That used to work. It doesn't when you start dancing in the streets after a thousand innocent civilians are murdered in cold blood.
Now is not the time to make moral relativity arguments. Now is the time to harden ones heart and mete out justice. Pick up the pieces later and resolve to be better in the future.

The overwhelming majority of muslims harbor an irrational hatred of Jews and their Western allies.
This "taken out of context" and not all of em' are bad mentality is what has allowed the extremism to grow exponentially.
