Lots of us would be offensive geniuses if we had LSU's offensive line, Malik Nabers and BTJ, Mason Taylor at TE and Jayden Daniels at QB.

Yes, having an offensive line that is not offensive sure helps.

The 2019 team obviously had great players. But the scheme also fooled a lot of defenses as well.
I don't think so. Very similar to 2023, imo. Great decision maker at QB behind an extraordinary offensive line with very good RBs and elite WRs.
Several teams were stoning LSU until Burrow made some wizardly play, Jamarr Chase took the ball away on a deep throw into good coverage, Jetts Mossed a defender, or Clyde did a spin move to beat a DB four yards in our backfield and then run for 10.

He did pretty well his last year at Cincy, given the talent level. But you're right, overall I thought it was a average solid hire.
I'm REALLY enjoying the play calling though. Very unpredictable and well designed
Also, run/ pass balance is about as good as you could ask for this season
Eta - I know having JD helps tremendously, but away from that, there are guys running open on every play

I thought he did a good job at Cincy, but I didn’t think the offense would be this good.

Remember when we had an offensive coordinator who could barely get the place in on time?
I still can’t believe that happened on this level. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it that bad.

Favorite play from Saturday: the 1/4 rollout right, throwback to Emery. Perfect design.
Same exact play we ran to open the FSU game. I will Def steal it for my kids flag football team lol

SFP loves him some Debrock.

This is not a knock on Denbrock but it’s easy to look good when you have a great o-line, a dozen weapons and the best trigger man in the game.

The oline coming together after the fsu game is a beautiful thing. Solid work getting it together.

Is it as simple as him just having better athletes to play with than ever before?
JD5 is playing like a Heisman...that's the formula to coaches looking like the best Coaches of all time
Next year, everyone will be bitching again? dunno

Don’t overreact to Dembrock. Most of this is a very talented quarterback.

when you have a QB like Daniels in his second year along with two NFL wide receivers.

They were calling for his head after the FSU game.
Those people were drunk. There was an execution issue versus FSU.

I remember looking back at his track record when the hire was announced and seemed to be trend that his offenses really took off in year 3. Hard to imagine but if that trend continues at LSU, next year could be crazy.

Outstanding OC.
But great players make great signal callers.

I really likes the jet sweep triple option.
we’ve run that so many times with Mason as the passing option I think Nabors being in motions really threw them off
I was just about to post this. There must be at least eight or nine different variations of this on the year. JD is so dangerous turning that corner that it opens up all kinds of shite as the 3rd option.

I think part of it is the fact that we have so much talent on offense this year. It'll be really interesting to see what he can do next year when JD5 is gone and Nabers, Thomas, and several of the running backs are gone.
I think we will see more use of TE’s next year. We are keeping defenses off balance this year in part because of Daniels ability to scramble. With Nuss being more of a pure pocket QB, I think we will see more 2 TE sets to throw wrinkles at the defense.
Which is exciting to know that we have a OC that can tailor his offense to what his personnel does best.
