Houston is playing physical but a lot of turnovers are your typical Pelicans turnovers. Houston playing physical isn't an excuse.

I guess we should talk about some positives. We are hitting 3s at a good rate but should have definitely shot a couple more. Hesitation from Kira and Daniels is not what I want to see. Naji has 0 hesitation whether he's hitting shots or not. We need more of this.
Kira can be so much more if he has Seabron's aggression. He looked good when he attacked the basket and the floater he threw up looked nice. When Zion is at the 5 and Kira's 1 on 1 with a mismatch, he needs to take it to the rim every time. He could really be a nice scorer off the bench if he had the mentality. He really needs to play like he's going to be out of the league after his contract is up.

I’m hoping it’s preseason so they are smart enough to figure it out, but Zion is the best player and needs the ball. That is where this team can be special. Tonight has been exactly what I have feared as all we have heard for the last month is Z off ball and BI and others will be the “engine” of the offense. Please Willie, wake up, the answer is right in front of you.

I’m not going to get too upset about it because it’s preseason. But it is a little concerning, mainly with the lack of effort on defense. We’re going to need to get Jose, Trey and Nance back ASAP.

Where are all the optimitic sunshine pumping pelican fans clamoring how we’re building a great culture of winning? Give me a fricking break. Winning culture starts with our stars and they gave no fricking effort today. Kudos to the rockets in building that culture.
