I hope Israel changes their laws and allows regular citizens to have firearms. I assume there will be a push to do so. I think the Swiss require each household to have a firearm.

Strange that the security volunteers had to be armed. You'd think they'd carry every-where they went like Americans given the possibility of an actual invasion that close to the Gaza Strip.
If you read the SUN Article it seems she may have armed the volunteers earlier than commanders expected....it is a wonder that they aren't carrying every where they go all day every day like we do in America given the actual threats they live with....
