Could Daniels come back next year?

Correct me if I’m wrong but his freshman year was during the COVID year, which doesn’t count right? So 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Before anyone laughs, this is the deepest NFL Draft QB room in history

Oh snap. Thought his freshman year was 2020

I'm pretty sure he graduated in 3 years and this is his 5th year but he doesn't have magical eligibility left. I'm still confused on how players keep continuing because I thought the original rule was that you have 5 years to use 4 years of eligibility, barring any extraordinary circumstances. Graduate school years not adding an additional year. And I think Jayden started all 3 years at ASU.

As a spectator on his bye week, sure.

Even if he could, why would he?

Yes

It's his 5th year
He started as a true freshman at ASU in 2019. He started in a shortened 2020 season as a Soph., then again in 2021 as a Junior (or Soph. if you want to say 2020 didn't count). 2022 was year 4. 2023 is year 5. He never redshirted, so this is his 4th season of playing.

Why, the man's about to get paid(mucho dinero).

Out of eligibility after this year

Thanks, sorry for the mistake. To answer WHY he would come back. This is the deepest QB NFL draft in history by a wide margin. He would get drafted higher in 25 if there was a chance to come back

No need, he's about to secure the bag
