Meh, he had maxed out his football career and was getting older. Football at that level takes a big toll on your life both in terms of time and physical pain.
It’s weird that he quit mid season and not before the season (like Myles Brennan for example), but I don’t hold it against him too much.

Jared and Chris Mitchell. Jared is one of 3 players in LSU history to win national titles in multiple sports (2007 football, 2009 baseball). And both brothers were on the 2007 football championship team.

The Jackso brothers in the early 70’s. One was a kicker and the other a DB. I think they were from Alabama
