re: Does the AD know our stadium experience has fallen behind?

As a long time season ticket holder, I care more about the quality of the opponents we play than the actual "game experience".
We are now paying for only one or two decent matchups every year, and a bunch of nobody's that we could care less about.

Well our fan participation has fallen way behind. Doubt we fill up the stadium again. Everything has to be perfect for folks not to have an excuse

From 2022
It's been almost two years since the survey. I've heard nothing.

“It’s time to update and upgrade, from restrooms and concessions to seating options and in venue experiences,” LSU Director of Athletics Scott Woodward said. “We are sending out a survey to help guide our decision-making for changes to Tiger Stadium, and in the coming days, we will send out another survey for the PMAC.
“No decisions have been made and no designs are finalized. Nothing will be decided until we receive and analyze all your feedback. It’s important to us that we make fiscally responsible decisions to invest in improving the fan experience in Death Valley and the Deaf Dome and to provide our student-athletes with everything they need to compete at the highest level.”

Who was it ahead of that it has fallen behind?
It's below others by comparison for sure but it isn't like it's gotten worse. Sadly, it's actually gotten a bit better the last few years which shows how bad it was.

The one thing that needs to be changed…north end zone scoreboard. Due to the way the stadium is now built…upper south end zone, the sound is always going to echo.
I’ve been to many other SEC stadiums…Tiger Stadium is still better! LED lights..the schools that need a gimmick can have them. We need them about as much as we need the DJ.

And more importantly, do they care?
Do you donate at least six figures to TAF every single year? If your answer is no, then no, they do not care. We’re all peasants.

Best fix for poor "stadium experience" is fielding a championship caliber team.

You know what the largest factor of stadium experience is?
The team and the opponents.
No one is coming to the Georgia State game because we have good food or missing the 2019 season games because of long drink lines.

As long as fans show up and buy tickets, put up with traffic nightmares, crappy, overpriced concessions and nasty bathrooms he doesn’t care. When money stops flowing in that will get attention, nothing else.

It's part of the Forbes ranking.

If you don’t have a suite or Stadium Club tickets and a parking pass, LSU and TAF DGAF what you think.

Honestly, I go to a lot of away games every year and to be honest, I don’t see where our stadium is better or worse than 90% of the rest of experiences. There is only so much you can do with over 100,000 folks when they are all in the same building.

The most important thing that would improve the Tiger Stadium atmosphere would be to cut down on the length of TV timeouts.
I remember back in the old days when most games were on Tigervision. The action kept moving and there wasn't a dull moment. Broadcast and ESPN games did happen, but they were mostly games that everyone was going to be engaged in anyway (aTm, Auburn, Bama, Florida.)
What you didn't have to do is sit around while red hat guy holds up a sign counting down the 4 minute timeout after every possession against Grambling.
The timeouts don't seem like much at home, but they are brutal in the stadium
Unfortunately, the AD can't do anything about it.
GEAUX TIGERS!
PS: My son was in the Auburn Band in 2018-2021 and visited both Tiger Stadium and Kyle Field that last year. He said Kyle Field was much more intimidating. (I, of course, disowned him for this. ;-) )

I’m sorry you’re half a f@g. Fans used to go to the game to watch the game. Shame you missed that era.

Yep. They need to get the DJ out of there. Piped in music could still be cut back a bit and less announcing of stuff. We’d be right back on top.

Some of you miserable fricks have this insane obsession with our sports facilities and " game experience". Every fricking sport from Tiger Stadium, PMAC, Alex Box ,Tiger Park etc. Why can't you just sit your arse in your seats for 2 to 3 hours and just enjoy the fricking game without all of these sissy frills. Stay the frick home if you don't like it. It gets old. This state and Tiger supporters are not drowning in money and with NIL becoming more important there will not be extra money for all of these luxuries you candy asses are constantly whining about.
