Here is a comprehensive list of every player in FBS with more total yards than Jayden Daniels: NONE
LINK
This is with playing 4/6 games on the road.

How I wish we could get JD for one more year

jesus Michael Penix is legit putting video game normal settings type numbers - a full less game, and look how many less plays.
but in the same breath, it's like shite, Jayden is putting up video game numbers too. Man what a jump for him in the vertical passing game. He just looks so much more comfortable running and throwing the ball. It's hard to see it when you watched the games, but statically he was a beast for us last year, but wow he's just throwing dimes this year, consistently, which I think is what has this forum is fighting each other back and forth.
We knew Jayden could throw it, he was doing it last year, the biggest difference is his consistency, decision making, and then just letting it the ball go for his WR's to make plays, he trust them and the Oline.

The Wrs and playcalling has made a big jump from last year also. Feeles like a mirror of 2012/2013. Same Personnel, Bigger jump.

I’m excited to see what he does down the stretch at home. We definitely face better defenses (all 4 SEC foes really) but unquestionably worse offenses.
Defense has a real opportunity to improve. Playing at home for 5 of the last 6 and not one great QB.
KJ Jefferson is the 4th best QB we’ve faced so far this year, and he’s better than anyone we have left.

It's starting to get sad that our defense is ripping away a potential Heisman from this kid

Dillon Gabriel has 1 more year. He had a medical redshirt and Covid year.
Next year will be his 6th year

Even if they lose another game, but he plays big the rest of the way and beats Bama and A&M or perhaps loses to one or the other, he will still have a good shot

Not a chance. They aren't giving the Heisman to a 3 loss QB who doesn't even play for their conference championship.
Not saying that's fair because if JD is the best player, give it to him. But I don't see that happening.

Looks like Penix and JD are 1a and 1b. Then everyone else

And against much tougher competition. Three Top 25 teams.

Last year, Caleb Williams won the Heisman as USC finished 11-3 on the year. Of course, as you said, USC did play for the PAC championship (although they lost to Utah). After the Heisman voting, USC lost their bowl game to Tulane for their 3rd loss.

He is fun to watch. Doesn't get as much national exposure because he's on the west coast.
JD is playing amazingly well this year too. Took a hit and kept on ticking!

Those are awesome numbers but you also have to take in account that a lot of the other guys are NOT playing the 4th Quarter winging it every play to win the game. They are sitting on the bench relaxing with a 30 point lead.
You can be mad if you want, but that's the truth.

Dude is going pro, no question...who would draft a 25 y.o. with injury history in the 1st?

2009 / 5 * 6 = 2409
JD is right there. If Penix slows at all, JD passes him. JD will not slow on Auburn and Army.

After the Tennessee game is where he really flourished. BK said in his postgame press conference that he told Daniels to trust himself. Throw the ball and let the receivers make the plays. He did that. He started to put up better numbers and IIRC only the Arkansas game was statistically his worst. I think he had the flu and also Arkansas defense threw different looks at LSU.

He's a special talent and a good person. You don't see him acting like a bafoon when he scores.
