Nope, I just bought an F8 green Challenger Swinger instead. Drove both and liked it better. Just bought Kooks 2" stainless long tube headers, catless mid pipes, quad tips and a comp cams stage 2 matserkit that will be going on in the next few weeks. F the warranty.

I realized my license plate was readable and had to edit the photo.

Admittedly we’re all over the place in the area we’re passing the red car, because getting off line heading into turn 3 blows that whole section…but after that our lines are fine.

Wasn’t the funnest of track days because there were way too many cars on the track. Had 30+ cars registered in our group. Passing is fun for a little while, but eventually you want clear laps to chase lap times.

Nonsense!

There was a guy selling ‘77 vette in Baraboo
Which I wanted, but I couldn’t get up there in time and it sold.

I like corvettes I just see the newer ones and wonder if they are going to transform into an autobot or deceptetcon at any given
moment.

This. The simpletons on here will downvote away, but this is the correct answer

The annoying thing about car guys is they love arguing online about things

1) they don't own

2) they have never driven

All that matters is buying what YOU want

Valid. I call mine a transformer all the time. It’s fun as hell to drive, though.

I prefer the C7 to the middie. I wish they would have carried on developing the C7 along with the C8. Ferrari has a front engine GT, so should Corvette.

They should at least let Cadillac use that front powered frame setup.

I never meant to truly slight any corvette owners. But someone had mentioned people being insecure in this thread about dogging the new vette and rambling about pay grade. Such silly insecure banter.

I’m 50 and I have a soft spot for older smoother lined cars
(Lamborghini Countach) my one exception.
It’s such a gaudy car, and the design ahead of it’s time in ways.

I’m 100% positive the newer corvette is a blast to drive.

Maybe I’m just getting old and am comfortable in my life, and don’t care as much for flash…who knows

Bench racing started about 2 minutes and 37 seconds after the second car was built.

Personal vehicles are also possibly the consumer product with the highest confirmation bias.

Online car communities are a place where you can find people arguing over what someone else could buy with such disparate assertions as an F350 and a Boxster. 90% of the time the person ask whether they should buy an Accord or a Camry.

Technically, it’s my husbands, I mean “ours”, but I’m the one who drives it nearly every day.

The car gets a lot of attention. Every guy in a sports car wants to chat about the engine at the red light or pulls beside me on the tollway to race. I genuinely love driving and can have a heavy foot so that’s why I love the car. I could do without the flash but it comes with the car.

Oh heck yeah!

I don't know if y'all do many events. This pic was from 2015 in GLS. There were over 600 Corvettes in attendance. This was taken in the morning, by afternoon all side streets and parking lots were filled. Had DFW, SAT, AUS not been under heavy flooding, it probably would have exceeded 900. The next year, they planned for a 1,000 and this time GLS flooded and it was the last time for it. Too bad, it was a great get together.
